A free exhibition of Sarah Lippett's illustrated stories from Ukraine, documenting lives reshaped by war since 2016.

Marking ten years at Out Of The Blue Drill Hall, this exhibition presents stories from Ukraine collected and illustrated by British artist Sarah Lippett since 2016. Beginning in Muzychi and Kyiv in the years after Russia's occupation of Crimea, it follows individuals she met there, and revisits them after the 2022 full-scale invasion to record how war has reshaped their everyday lives. The full collection is shown together for the first time alongside a new series made for this exhibition, reflecting on distance, identity and the future during wartime.
