St Barnabas Hospice Torchlight Procession 2026

A torchlit memorial walk of 1,200 people from Clayton Sports Ground to Lincoln Cathedral in support of St Barnabas Hospice.

Now in its 26th year, the Torchlight Procession is St Barnabas Hospice's memorial event where families and friends walk together to remember loved ones. A flaming torch is carried by runners from the Lincoln Inpatient Unit to Clayton Sports Ground, where it lights the procession torches. At 7:30pm the procession, led by the RAF Waddington Pipe Band, journeys past the Inpatient Unit for a moment of reflection before reaching Lincoln Cathedral for a closing service in which the Tree of Life is illuminated. Food and drink, a Messages of Love tent and wellbeing support are available on site.
