Children’s Beginner Fencing Course — Ark Burlington Danes
About
A public beginner fencing course for children, with equipment supplied and practical work on footwork, blade technique and fencing bouts.
Beginner fencing lessons teach footwork, blade work, distance control and training bouts. Equipment is provided for the beginner course. Places are limited to 15 children per group and courses are non-refundable. Continued training after the beginner course requires a membership choice. The current panels advertise five Sunday sessions starting 27 September and 4 October 2026. Ages6–11 start at16:00; ages12–15 run17:30–18:50. The younger September panel ends17:00 while the October panel ends17:15, so overlapping dates retain an unknown end time. The two five-session runs share dates and are grouped as one venue curriculum, with six distinct Sundays through1November. Generic text elsewhere says six classes and first attendance followed by five or six remaining sessions, which conflicts with the dated five-session panels. The proposed dates follow those current panels; no extra sessions are inferred. Head coach Atom Soghoyan (Tomi) is named on the club’s coach page, but the actual course coach is not specified. Booking links offer application and payment; their generic payment buttons include other amounts without tying them to these dates.
