The Signalman

Idle Discourse stages Dan Dawes’s contemporary adaptation of Dickens’s ghost story, in which a stranded traveller encounters a railway signalman beneath London.

The two men talk through disturbing events in an empty underground station, as apparently rational explanations become harder to sustain. Presented with support from Play GC Theatre. The production advises audiences aged 16 and over and warns of violence, graphic imagery, offensive language, adult themes and discussion of suicide.
