Reading Didgeridoo & World Music Community

A relaxed community jam session at the Rising Sun Arts Centre welcoming didgeridoo, hand drums and other world instruments at all experience levels.

This is an open, participatory music session where musicians gather to jam, chat and connect rather than perform. All instruments are welcome, especially world and rhythm-based ones such as didgeridoo, djembe, handpan, flutes and voice, and unusual instruments are particularly encouraged. The emphasis is on shared sound, rhythm and community rather than skill, with all experience levels invited, and the hope that attendees swap tips, learn new rhythms and support each other's musical growth.
