Waterstones Liverpool welcomes Ben Machell

Author and Times columnist Ben Machell discusses his book Chasing The Dark - Encounters with the Supernatural at Waterstones Liverpool.

Ben Machell visits Waterstones Liverpool to talk about his book Chasing The Dark - Encounters with the Supernatural. The book tells the story of Tony Cornell, a British naval officer and the Society for Psychical Research's most prolific paranormal investigator, who between 1950 and 2010 examined ghosts, poltergeists and psychic powers alongside psychologist Alan Gauld. Drawing on Cornell's previously untapped case files, Machell explores what these encounters reveal about our relationship with the supernatural and our anxieties.
