Festive Late Night Opening
About
A free festive evening opening of Salisbury Cathedral with live choir performances, a sing-along, family activities and Christmas displays.
The cathedral opens after dark for an evening of festive entertainment, with live music in the Spire Crossing from the Salisbury Cathedral Staff Choir and the Kate Edgar Singers, followed by a piano-accompanied carol sing-along. Children can enjoy a silent mini disco in Trinity Chapel, dress up in mini copes, and decorate an Advent candle to relight at home on Christmas Eve. Visitors can also see the library, the West Window view, Christmas vestments at the High Altar, and the Christmas tree, Nativity scene and floral displays, with refreshments available in the café.
