Meet the Author: Gail Powell

Local author Gail C Powell introduces her ghost investigator character Eliza Binks with readings and story-creating activities for ages 7+.

Author Gail C Powell hosts a spooky hour at Pontefract Castle introducing Eliza Binks, Ghost Investigator. She explains how local history, mystery and legends shaped the story and reads passages from the book herself. Young writers can then develop ideas for their own mysterious or magical tale inspired by the past. The free session is aimed at ages 7 and over, with under-16s accompanied by an adult, and takes place in the Activity Zone.
