Punch
About
James Graham's Olivier Award-winning play about Jacob Dunne's true story of one fatal punch and its aftermath runs for one week at the Citizens Theatre.
James Graham's Punch, based on Jacob Dunne's book 'Right From Wrong', dramatises the true story of a Nottingham teenager whose impulsive punch killed a man, and the transformative meeting he later had with his victim's parents. Directed by Adam Penford, the production follows sold-out runs at Nottingham Playhouse and the Young Vic and won two Olivier Awards including Best New Play. Performances run 30 March to 3 April 2027, with a matinee on 1 April and an audio-described and captioned matinee on 3 April. The show lasts 2 hours 25 minutes including an interval and is recommended for ages 12+.
