About
Watch Cotehele's gardeners create the famous Christmas garland, inserting over 30,000 dried flowers into a pittosporum base over eleven days.
Visitors can see the gardeners at work as they build this year's Cotehele Christmas garland, inserting more than 30,000 dried flowers into a pittosporum base. On Monday 9 November the work takes place outside while the pittosporum base is created, and the house is closed. From Tuesday 10 to Thursday 19 November the work moves inside the hall, with all other rooms closed; the hall may also close at times for safety while scaffolding and equipment are moved.
