Grateful Fred's: Tim Edey

Grateful Fred's monthly Americana and roots night closes 2026 with a solo show by multi-instrumentalist Tim Edey.

Grateful Fred's has promoted Americana and roots music in Formby, Southport and Liverpool since 2010, and on the first Wednesday of each month hosts a night of live acoustic music at The Atkinson. This December session features Tim Edey, BBC Radio 2's Musician of the Year 2012, with a full supporting programme. His solo show blends world music-inspired instrumental virtuosity with a strong Celtic theme, performed on guitar, accordion, melodeon, banjo and more.
