Turkish Lessons
About
Free weekly Turkish lessons for children from Reception to GCSE level, using games, songs and stories to build speaking, reading and writing skills.
A course of Turkish language lessons designed specially for children, running as a series of one-hour Tuesday sessions at Sutton Central Library. Participants learn to speak, read and write Turkish through games, songs, stories and activities, progressing from first words to full sentences and conversations, while also exploring Turkish culture. The sessions are open to all children from Reception to GCSE level, whether complete beginners or already familiar with some Turkish. The course is run by an external partner rather than library staff, and booking information is available via the library.
