Richmond Opera presents Messiah (Hampton)

Richmond Opera performs Handel's Messiah with soloists, chorus and Baroque orchestra at All Saints' Church, Hampton.

Richmond Opera presents Handel's Messiah, first performed in Dublin in 1742 and now one of the most enduring works in the classical repertoire. The performance features dramatic solo numbers, powerful choral writing and Handel's best-known music, including the Hallelujah chorus, accompanied by a Baroque orchestra. This is the second of two performances, following an earlier staging at St Mary Magdalene Church, Richmond on 14 November.
