About
A schoolteacher and a married Pakistani man grow close through their shared affection for a child.
Ali and Ava first connect through Sofia, the daughter of Ali’s tenants and one of Ava’s pupils. Their affection grows, but each brings a different history and set of pressures to the relationship, which they must reckon with as they grow closer.
