String Chamber Groups and Orchestra: Session 2 — Autumn 2026 (PA0180)

Develop string-ensemble skills through chamber-group coaching and a larger orchestra working with a conductor.

Open to violin, viola, cello and double-bass players with at least three years of playing experience and the ability to read music. Players are assessed and matched into groups at the first class; places are subject to suitable matches. One group forms a string orchestra with conducting throughout the session. Learners bring their instruments and practise term repertoire between meetings. 12-week course; Friday classes advertised 19:30–21:00. The full intake runs 2026-09-25 to 2026-12-11; contact the centre for the individual class calendar.
