About
Dameon Priestly revisits the political and visual language of 1968 through collage, paint, image and text.
The exhibition connects the artist’s family history with the civil-rights marches, anti-war protests and political challenges of 1968. Its works explore the distance between political ideals and lived reality, and between historical events and the stories later told about them.
