Macbeth: Workshop (12-16 years)

A practical Macbeth workshop for 12-16 year olds at Shakespeare's Globe, exploring the play's language, characters and themes with a Globe Theatre tour.

This interactive workshop invites 12-16 year olds to explore Shakespeare's Macbeth through games and practical activities drawing out the play's language, characters and themes. Led by one of the Globe's experienced educational practitioners, including actors, teachers and directors, it draws on the venue's unique performance conditions and serves as a head start or accompaniment to GCSE English Literature study. No previous experience is required, and the workshop includes a tour of the Globe Theatre. Sessions run for 90 minutes in a rehearsal room, with young people attending independently while accompanying adults remain on site.
