Solstice

Solstice is a new dance work presented by Celtic Contemporary Ballet and James Wilton Dance, inspired by ancestral pasts and Celtic folklore. Five dancers portray characters from mythology in a style blending dance, acrobatics and martial arts developed by artistic directors Sarah Jane Taylor and James Wilton. The piece is described as grounded, earthy and ritualistic, exploring people connecting as the world changes around them and celebrating togetherness and the human spirit.
