Spring Bulb Planting Workshop
About
A hands-on small-group workshop at Badminton Estate where the gardening team teaches spring bulb planting techniques, with a tour of the Estate's planting schemes included.
The Badminton Estate gardening team runs a practical, small-group workshop on planting spring-flowering bulbs, covering planting techniques, bulb care, planting depths and colour combinations for garden, patio or home displays. All materials are provided, including bulbs, compost and a handmade Badminton-branded pot, and participants take home their own planted arrangement ready to flower in spring, with refreshments included. Two sessions are offered: on 23 October Ashley and Ashley lead the workshop in the Walled Garden Greenhouse (group size 12) followed by a tour of the Walled Garden cutting beds, and on 30 October Head Gardeners Marie and Karen lead it in the Orangery (group size 16) with a behind-the-scenes look at the Estate's bulb collection.
