About

An exhibition of paintings by Palestinian artist Taqi Spateen exploring land, belonging and resilience, open Thursdays to Saturdays.

Stroud Valleys Artspace hosts 'From That Land', an exhibition by Palestinian artist and activist Taqi Spateen, a former Site Festival 2024 artist in residence. The show presents his realist landscape paintings, which draw on the Palestinian countryside and the olive tree as a central symbol, alongside depictions of urbanisation and colonial settlements. The gallery is open Thursdays to Saturdays, 10am to 3pm, from 19 to 25 November.
