Residency: Rider Shafique & Jodi Hunt

Rider Shafique and Jodi Hunt take up a gallery residency at SVA developing their collaborative work on diaspora, identity, sound and memory.

Artists Rider Shafique and Jodi Hunt return to the SVA Gallery to continue developing their ongoing collaborative practice, exploring British/Caribbean identity, diaspora, heritage, sound and memory. The residency gives them time to revisit unfinished threads from previous collaborations, working with physical and material forms. Shafique works across spoken word, sound, photography and installation, while Hunt's practice centres on typography, image-making and design.
