Sarah Ketelaars’s exhibition presents 544 cyanotypes as a memorial to psychiatric patients murdered in Latvia in 1941.
Each cyanotype represents one of 544 psychiatric patients murdered by the Nazis in Latvia in 1941. The photographic memorial reflects on individual lives before their deaths and on the absence of a surviving named record.
