About
A suburban man sets out to swim home through his neighbours’ pools, and the journey exposes cracks in his life.
Burt Lancaster plays Ned Merrill, who imagines a route home by swimming through a chain of neighbourhood pools. BFI describes the summer journey as gradually revealing that the life Ned presents is not what it seems.
