Alice Roberts: From Cell to Civilisation

Prof Alice Roberts presents a theatrical stage show tracing four billion years of evolution, from the origin of life to early civilisations.

A Lateral Events production bringing Prof Alice Roberts' stage show to the UK, blending archaeology, evolutionary biology and genetics with theatrical sound and light. The evening traces the story of humanity from the first spark of life on Earth 3.8 billion years ago, following human ancestors out of Africa into Asia, Australia, Europe, Siberia and the Americas, and examining early civilisations. Roberts also discusses how science knows what it knows about our origins, covering four billion years of evolution in one evening.
