Professor Alice Roberts - From Cell to Civilisation

Professor Alice Roberts presents a stage show tracing four billion years of evolution, from the origin of life to early civilisations.

Professor Alice Roberts brings her touring stage show to Cambridge, blending archaeology, evolutionary biology and genetics with theatrical sound and light. The evening traces the story of humanity from the first spark of life on Earth 3.8 billion years ago, following human ancestors out of Africa and across the globe, meeting other human species along the way. The show runs 7:30pm-9:50pm with an interval, and examines how science answers age-old questions about who we are and what it means to be human.
