Workshop – What Can Creative Writing Offer to Children & Families?

Part of the Pavilions' Book Fest, this 45-minute workshop is led by Creative Writing for Wellbeing tutor Andrea East of Walrus Writing. Families with children aged 7 to 11 explore themes together including expressing feelings and building confidence, imagination and problem-solving, following passions, sharing stories, and practical skills disguised as play. The session is described as small, friendly and welcoming, introducing creative writing as a gentle tool for wellbeing.
