About
A free evening talk and viewing of the Seven Saxon Kings embroidery panels at All Saints Church, Kingston.
An evening viewing and talk exploring the Saxon Kings traditionally crowned at Kingston upon Thames and the seven embroidery panels created to honour them. The talk covers the site's West Saxon history, the reigns and characters depicted, and the making of the panels, which combine Jacky Puzey's machine embroidery with hand embroidery and beading by Beatrice Mayfield. Six of the seven panels are currently displayed, and a bar is available during the event.
