About
A guided history walk around the grounds of Bethlem Royal Hospital exploring what was there before, starting at Bethlem Gallery.
Bethlem Gallery and the Museum of the Mind lead a walk around the grounds of the Bethlem Royal Hospital under the question 'What was here before?'. The walk covers the hospital's history since its 1930 move to the site, including questions such as whether Monks Orchard has any connection to monks and what architectural style the chapel was built in. Walks begin at 11am at Bethlem Gallery and last approximately one hour; strong footwear is advised as paths may be muddy.
