Eden Community Tree Nursery
About
Volunteer at Eden Community Tree Nursery, helping prepare seeds and the site for new tree growth.
Help get the community tree nursery ready and prepare seeds for winter through planting, painting, building, cleaning, chopping, tidying and digging. Beginners are welcome and support is available. Work parties usually run weekly on Friday mornings (10:00–13:00) and Tuesday afternoons (13:00–16:00), but the schedule can change at short notice. Contact Jenni Payne in advance to confirm whether the session is running, the meeting point and the time. Wear warm clothes and sturdy shoes or wellies; waterproofs are recommended and gloves can be provided. The site has little shelter and no facilities.
