About
Gardener and broadcaster Adam Jones leads a bilingual children’s workshop about the pumpkin life cycle, pumpkin carving and planting garlic to take home.
The workshop follows the pumpkin’s life cycle through a talk and hands-on activities. Two groups of up to 25 children start together at 11:00; one group attends Adam Jones’s museum talk while the other carves pumpkins in the marquee outside the Billiard Room, then they swap at 11:50. At 12:45 both groups meet in the garden area to plant garlic in compost-filled biodegradable cups.
