Introduction to Joinery
About
A practical joinery course progressing from solid timber framing through core traditional joints, accurate hand-tool work and dovetailing. Choose the five-day daytime or ten-evening cohort; course schedules and fees differ by format.
Both published course formats teach the same joinery curriculum: timber properties and sourcing; accurate measuring and marking; sawing and chiselling; gluing and clamping; planing and tool care; and a progression through lapping, mortise-and-tenon, bridle and mitre joints to full and half-blind dovetails. The daytime course is five consecutive Mondays, 10:00–17:00, priced at £740 per person for the course. The evening course is ten consecutive Wednesdays, 18:00–21:00, priced at £780 per person for the course. Each format is a complete course enrolment, not a per-session fee. Both product pages say all levels and name Emma Leslie as tutor.
