Fine Woodwork: Key Skills

A cabinetmaking course built around an ash shelving unit, with practice in timber selection, tool use and joinery.

The autumn intake combines Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions across eleven published dates. Learners study how solid timber and manufactured boards affect joints, maintain and use cabinetmaking tools, and practise cutting, shaping and fitting joints for the shelving project.
