Scene Study
About
A 10-week practical evening course at RADA in which participants analyse and rehearse scenes using Stanislavski-influenced techniques.
This 10-week course runs on Tuesday evenings and is open to beginners and anyone new to scene study from an actor's perspective, including those considering drama school. Working collectively and in small groups, participants analyse and rehearse scenes from a range of texts, sharing and workshopping their prepared scenes in class. The training draws on techniques practised by Stanislavski and later practitioners influenced by him, including Uta Hagen and Sanford Meisner, and is led by RADA's team of expert tutors. Participants must be over 18 with fluent English, and some preparation and reading is required between classes.
