Monologue Workout: Saturdays

A six-week Saturday course at RADA for actors aged 18+ to build a portfolio of audition monologues through playful, practical exploration of texts.

This six-week Saturday workshop (10am–5pm) helps actors approach monologues and speeches experimentally for auditions and self-tapes. Classes cover choosing speeches, memorisation techniques, taking direction and making instinctive text-based decisions, drawing on techniques practised by Stanislavski, Hagen and Meisner, with voice and movement support. Each session ends with sharing and workshopping prepared monologues; participants must be over 18 with fluent English and no selection process applies.
