About

A guided 90-minute walking tour of Edinburgh Castle exploring its dark history, sinister tales and ghostly legends, recommended for ages 18+.

A guide leads visitors through the grounds of Edinburgh Castle, uncovering the site's veiled past and tales of shadows and whispers left behind. The tour takes place mostly outdoors on steep, cobbled walkways and staircases, and enters dark, enclosed spaces with uneven terrain. Tours run at 11am and 2pm and last 1 hour 30 minutes, with content recommended for ages 18 and over. All tours are sold out, and tours on Sunday 25 October were cancelled due to severe weather warnings.
