About
A low-fidelity simulation-based study day for health professionals covering key paediatric palliative care topics, hosted by Martin House Children's Hospice.
This interactive one-day course at Martin House Children's Hospice uses low-fidelity simulation delivered by expert clinicians to explore paediatric palliative care. Topics include managing expected deaths, symptom management, advance care planning and escalation of treatment decisions. It is aimed at health professionals caring for children with life-limiting or life-threatening illness across hospital, community and hospice settings, running 8:45am to 5:30pm with lunch provided.
