Grief and Bereavement Education Training for Primary School Staff
About
A practical training day helping primary school staff deliver statutory grief and bereavement lessons with confidence, run by the Living On Bereavement Service.
Grief and bereavement education is now part of the school curriculum, and this seven-hour in-person training day equips primary school staff to deliver those lessons safely and sensitively. Delivered by the Living On Bereavement Service, a specialist charity supporting bereaved children and families since 2016, the day covers how grief presents in children, trauma-informed and age-appropriate lesson delivery, handling difficult questions and disclosures, and using inclusive language around death. Attendees receive practical resources to take back to school, with lunch and refreshments included.
