The Legendary Ghost Tour
About
An atmospheric lantern-lit ghost tour of Bradford Police Museum's Victorian courtroom and cells, featuring live performances about the legend of Chains Charlie.
This after-hours tour takes visitors through the Victorian courtroom and original police cells of Bradford Police Museum, guided by lantern light and brought to life by The Museum Players. Through live performances, dramatic witness testimonies and true accounts from police officers, cleaners, security staff and visitors, it explores the legend of Chains Charlie, a Victorian murderer said to haunt the old police station. The tour also covers the real history of crime and punishment in Bradford and is designed to be atmospheric rather than terrifying, with no jump scares. Suitable for ages 12+, with under-16s accompanied by an adult; the route includes steep Victorian steps and uneven floors.
