First Aid at Work (FAW) Course - Preston

A three-day HSE-aligned First Aid at Work course in Preston training designated workplace first aiders in emergency response, trauma and medical conditions.

This three-day, HSE-aligned First Aid at Work course trains attendees to act as designated workplace first aiders, covering CPR and AED use, bleeding control, burns, fractures, spinal injuries and medical emergencies such as asthma, diabetes and anaphylaxis. Assessment is by continuous instructor observation plus a short multiple-choice questionnaire, with no written exams. Successful participants receive a British Red Cross FAW qualification valid for three years. The course runs 9am to 5pm each day with small group sizes capped at 12 and includes a free mental health for first aiders module.
