Book Launch: Heart of Scotland - The History and Heritage of Stirling

Free book launch at the Church of the Holy Rude for Heart of Scotland, a history of Stirling since 1124, hosted by its University of Stirling authors.

Holger Nehring, Michael Penman and Tom Turpie of the University of Stirling launch their book Heart of Scotland - The History and Heritage of Stirling since 1124. The book presents Stirling as a place of borders and connections linking Britain, Scotland and the wider world, tracing its story from pre-Roman times through key events and transformations in Scottish and UK history. It also incorporates the area's landscape, environment, archaeology and architecture. The launch takes place at the Church of the Holy Rude on 10 November 2026 at 6:30pm.
