Ways of Wellbeing: Art & Creative Health
About
A discussion morning explores how arts and creative practice can support children’s and young people’s wellbeing, drawing on South London Gallery’s Art Block programme.
Polly South and Paul Crook open the programme, followed by ImpactEd’s evaluation of Art Block, Dr Karen Mak on arts participation and wellbeing, and Regan McDonald on Ikon Gallery’s Creative Health work. Talks, breaks and a Q&A run from 10am to 1pm; the published programme also lists lunch and networking from 1pm to 2pm afterwards. The event welcomes discussion with colleagues across arts, youth, education and wellbeing sectors. Seating and regular breaks are provided, and attendees may leave and re-enter this relaxed event.
