Monika Sosnowska: Weight of Matter

Monika Sosnowska is a Polish artist whose sculptural practice explores architecture and urban transformation.

The exhibition spans the Main Gallery and two floors of the Fire Station, bringing together monumental sculptures made from steel, concrete and other industrial materials associated with modernist architecture. Sosnowska’s work considers how architecture and space shape people, reflecting on the legacy of modernism and the implosion of the communist regime in Poland.
