About

Four Forty Theatre retells Dickens’s Christmas ghost story with playful invention, quick character changes and comic warmth.

Four Forty Theatre’s adaptation follows the miser, eccentric spirits and a town rediscovering its festive spirit. The production uses quick character changes and playful invention for a lively, family-friendly take on Dickens. Adapted by Alice Merivale and directed by Dom Gee-Burch, it is performed in the unheated Spanish Barn; chairs are provided and warm clothing is recommended. Doors open 30 minutes before each show.
