Songwriting as Activism: A Workshop with MIRI

A hands-on songwriting workshop with MIRI using archival material from queer women’s liberation music and protest movements.

MIRI uses queer women’s liberation music and other archival protest material to help participants turn political ideas into a collaborative song sketch. No previous songwriting experience is required, and museum admission is included.
