Discovering Pastels

An introductory pastel workshop on colour, materials and painting techniques.

Pastel artist and experienced teacher Fiona Carvell introduces the colour and flexibility of pastels. The workshop covers materials, surfaces, application and basic techniques, with time to create a finished artwork. It is suitable for all levels and materials are included. The Hearth Café offers lunch or participants may bring a packed lunch.
