Interpreting the Landscape

A two-day pastel workshop exploring the colours and forms of the Northumbrian landscape.

Fiona Carvell leads two days of experimental pastel work inspired by the Northumbrian landscape. Participants explore washes, brushwork and dry-pastel techniques, with demonstrations and guidance to develop a personal interpretation. The workshop suits all experience levels and includes materials. Lunch can be bought from the Hearth Cafe or brought along.
