Raising Aspirations

A bilingual creative programme delivered by Oriel Davies Gallery and Powys Together to Year 6 pupils in Newtown's primary schools.

The programme supports Year 6 pupils as they prepare for High School, encouraging curiosity, conversation, and confidence. Oriel Davies has facilitated tours, artist-led workshops, and exhibitions of the pupils’ work. In 2026, the programme was extended through funding from Max Literacy, allowing artist Gweni LLwyd to develop a digital resource.
