Christmas Pudding Parade
About
A festive dinner at The Assembly House where a parade of Christmas puddings is ceremonially paraded to tables for unlimited helpings.
The Assembly House hosts the Christmas edition of its Pudding Parade, a three-hour festive dinner. Guests begin with parsnip soup, followed by a main course of roast Norfolk turkey and honey-baked gammon or a vegetarian squash, parsnip and chestnut Wellington. Afterwards the lights dim and a cavalcade of puddings — from Queen Victoria's recipe Christmas pudding to Tipsy Laird trifle — is paraded into the Music Room by Pudding Master David Clayton and served to tables in unlimited helpings, finishing with coffee and a slice of Italian chocolate nut Christmas cake.
