Is free speech absolute?

A Battle of Ideas satellite debate at which Daniel Silveira interrogates Professor Dennis Hayes on whether free speech is absolute.

This East Midlands Salon event, a Battle of Ideas satellite, stages a public debate on whether free speech should be treated as absolute. Daniel Silveira (Buckingham AFAF) will interrogate Professor Dennis Hayes (AFAF Director), with Vanessa Pupavac (Nottingham AFAF) chairing the discussion. The debate follows heated exchanges at summer events with self-declared free speech 'absolutists', and the organisers invite attendees to bring their own 'buts'. The event runs for two hours.
