Shared Reading on Mondays

A weekly community group that brings people together to read and discuss short stories and poems from around the world.

The group reads a short story aloud each week, followed by a discussion about the reading, its emotional impact, and its themes. They feature stories from every period of history and every corner of the globe, often including poems. There is no pressure to speak or read aloud; attendees are welcome to simply listen.
